Love is the person you think about during the sad songs

I’m very well damned then.

Very, very familiar. It does sometimes surprise me how those apps are still being developed the way they are considering everyone uses the above in some way or another, especially developers and graphic artists..

If it weren’t for this crappy company app, I wouldn’t be holding this job in IT ;) Thank God for crappy, buggy, out-of-date, completely not-userfriendly internal computer applications!

Need to go check this out. Kansas City is only a couple of hours from here.

Things to Do

Things that I’m supposed to take care of today (random order):

  1. Get a hair cut
  2. Buy boots
  3. Put away my freshly laundered clothes that have been lying in the laundry basket since a week
  4. Make my bed and beautify it
  5. Need to buy a fake present for a co-worker
  6. Exchange hundreds of quarters for dollar bills at the grocery store

Things that I’m more likely to do:

  1. Put away my freshly laundered clothes (yay!_
  2. Make my bed
  3. Buy a fake present (have to have to do it- not that I want to do it)

That’s all. I’m THAT lazy. Yes. Even the prospect of buying boots doesn’t get me excited.

Blackberry has created the Zune of touchscreen phones.
From the Desk of David Pogue - Readers React to David Pogue’s Review of the BlackBerry Storm - NYTimes.com (via fakestef) I haven’t had a chance to play with it, but I believe David Pogue. Just because one company, namely, Apple, could successfully implement multi-touch technology, it doesn’t mean that any other company can repeat the magic too.

It’s freezing! Stepped out in the balcony to take this pic- just as the sun sets.

More on eBay

Even though I’ve faxed eBay all my documents that are required for re-instating my user ID, I haven’t yet heard back from them. So I went ahead and registered for another ID! What else can I do? I am still linking my new eBay ID to my old Paypal account. Now I hope they don’t block this ID. The only downside is that I have zero ratings now. :-( This kind of hurts because my old ID has 100% feedback…accumulated over a period of three long years.

If the artist is excessively dependent on simply being “liked,” so that her true end isn’t in the work but in a certain audience’s good opinion, she is going to develop a terrific hostility to that audience, simply because she has given all her power away to them. It’s the familiar love-hate syndrome of seduction: “I don’t really care what it is I say, I care only that you like it. But since your good opinion is the sole arbitrator of my success and worth, you have tremendous power over me, and I fear you and hate you for it.” This dynamic isn’t exclusive to art.

I think this applies to relationships too…on a different level and dimension.

9-YEAR-OLD ALEC GREVEN WRITES DATING BOOK "HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS" - New York Post

Watching his interview on CNN now. Really cute boy. Too bad he’s way too young for me. :p
