Doctors with MBAs: Numbers are fast rising- Education-Services-News By Industry-News-The Economic Times

Good to read that people from all disciplines are realizing the importance of having an MBA degree. Even if you’re a doctor, you need to learn “managerial” skills etc. It’s sad that non-Business majors under-estimate the importance of an MBA. I got my MBA even though my previous degree was in Law. This article makes me a happy person today. :-)

It’s been raining here since the past two days. Unfortunately, I don’t have such a pretty umbrella. Else I would have done a Flickr-inspired pic of myself ;) Probably I should buy one just to achieve this objective.

Why doesn’t Google documents work with Safari? With all the Google love oozing out of Apple, I thought that everything Google would be on!

I know what you mean…there are a couple of funny Google/Apple incompatibilities that have annoyed me recently.

Although I must ask: why do you use Safari as your first-choice browser?  As much as I love most things Apple, I’ve always found their browser sucks.

Thanks for affirming my belief! Actually, I’m not such a big Apple fan girl. I’ve been trying out Safari (on an XP laptop) only since yesterday and the incompatibilities bother me too much. Plus, I don’t think Safari’s any faster than Firefox (even though that is what Steve Jobs would like us to believe).

Why doesn’t Google documents work with Safari? With all the Google love oozing out of Apple, I thought that everything Google would be on! I use Google docs a lot and the inability of Safari to support this application makes me want to go back to Firefox/Flock again. It’s pointless to keep Safari open just to browse the internet and to keep Firefox open for Google Docs. Only if my laptop had gazillion bits of RAM.

Nice one. I hope the anti-abortion people don’t start pouncing now.

During sexual activity the body releases a hormone that bonds partners like an emotional super glue. Sexual activity with multiple partners reduces your ability to bond. If you tape a guy and a girl together with duct tape, the two are held together. But if you rip it off and then try to use the same tape to tape the girl to another guy, the bond will be less strong as the stickiness is reduced. The same is true with people. The more sexual partners that someone has, the weaker their emotional bond in marriage will be.

The biggest difference is that sex in Japan is not a mutual sharing experience with both partners spontaneously doing whatever they feel like or enjoy whenever they feel like doing it. Sex has rules and sex has roles just as every social interaction in Japan has rules and roles. There is an active partner and a passive partner. Active means moving; passive means unmoving. In heterosexual sex, the active partner is always male, and the passive partner is always female..
supacat: Sex and flirting in Japan Wow. Probably we’ll find a different breed of feminists in Japan. I’m very curious now.

I don’t think this is true for everyone who’s here. Definitely not for me. :-)
