Love the FSS Hockey app for iPhone. If you love Air jockey, you need to download this free app, if you already haven’t, that is!

Blogs are so over, Wired magazine says

I’m mostly doing FriendFeed. Not Twitter.

Hey, didn’t you hear? Blogs are so 2004. They’re dead now, says Paul Boutin (who also writes for Valleywag) in a piece he wrote

Precisely why I’m hardly blogging at Wordpress. Nothing new. Same old same old.

I didn’t know that I cant use the same external hard disk for Mac and PC. Gotta buy another one for PC now. :| Oh btw, using Time Machine is very convenient. Works like a charm.

so true. comics teach the biggest lessons in life.

So Apple’s good earnings release didn’t seem to help the stock price much. I wanted to sell of my shares today, but as_of_now, I’m not getting much in profits. Almost negligible. :( Also losing money on other stocks. NASDAQ/DOW/S&P lost more than 650 points late afternoon and I almost cried. All I can do is hope for a better day tomorrow.

I just feel like sobbing now. :’(

Looks like the commodities will have another bad day at the Wall Street. Hoping to buy some steel stocks and sell off Apple soon.
I just started using Twitbin. It’s so much better than the Mac app Twucket. Easy to use for sure. I just have two firefox addons- Twitbin and Facebook. So I think I’m ok for now.

Really heart breaking to see such a powerful animal at rest.

Supposedly, the credit crunch has become better- the LIBOR rate has decreased, indicating that worldwide banks are ready to lend each other at a lower interest rate.

Apple’s earnings release turned out to be good. The negative guidance seems to be incorporated into the current stock price to some extent. Hence there doesn’t seem to be any negative connotation. I got in at the right moment. Hoping to rake in a small profit tomorrow. :D

Ze MacBook

  1. Why are there only 2 USB ports? I could totally do with two more.

  2. Why isn’t there an easy way to maximize the window? When everything else is so easy, why is this not easy? Instead, I need to click on my trackpad and drag the lower right edge.

  3. Isn’t there anything called Defrag? Disk clean up? I guess OS X doesn’t need PC type maintenance.

  4. I imported lots of old songs from some previous back up CDs and I’m so pleased! It feels so nice to listen to old stuff…after so long.

  5. I ordered a 500 GB external hard disk online. I think I’ve lost too many pics and now I really care. And I’m giving Mozy a try. If I like it, I’ll take up their unlimited online back-up plan. Anything to keep my music, pictures, comics and files safe! It actually feels so nice to dig out old stuff. :D

  6. I’m totally geeking out tonight.

  7. Oh, and it’s so easy to install a printer. In fact, all I had to do is plug in the printer and that’s it! Don’t laugh now- I’m an ex-PC user. What else can you expect? ;)

  8. Now only if AAPL (Apple) stock were to fall tomorrow to $93-95 so that I can pick up a few and make some quick bucks.

I admit to a personal interest. I have a 9-year-old son named Omar. I firmly believe that he will be able to do absolutely anything he wants in this country when he grows up. But I admit that I will feel more confident about his future if a man named Barack Obama became president of the United States.
