"Tell the chef, the beer is on me."
“ I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think,—
all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read,
and all the friends I want to see. ”

I’m quite sure I’d left by the time this screenshot was taken. My video froze?

Heard someone say “Who is Ruhi bitsncrumbs?” thrice and I decided to leave. I don’t feel comfortable video and voice chatting, somehow.

“ We’ve had one of these before, when the dot-com bubble burst. What I told our company was that we were just going to invest our way through the downturn, that we weren’t going to lay off people, that we’d taken a tremendous amount of effort to get them into Apple in the first place — the last thing we were going to do is lay them off. And we were going to keep funding. In fact we were going to up our R&D budget so that we would be ahead of our competitors when the downturn was over. And that’s exactly what we did. And it worked. And that’s exactly what we’ll do this time ”—

Excellect business process differentiation. I admire this man so much.
Nice script! However, I can’t ignore the “you follow me I follow you and if you unfollow me, I unfollow you” sentiment associated with it. People here purport to be filled with “awesomeness” and make “real friends”. Everyone you or I am interested in doesn’t has to be interested in reading what I have to say! This reduces the entire microblogging act to a number game.
P.S- Oh and no wonder some people I have been following (even though they were not following me) started “reciprocating” back. Guess this script did the magic?
This awesome thing from stupidinboston:
What is this, you ask?
It is the result of a few days of intense coding, where in I created a new GreaseMonkey script. It is not fancy or flashy, but it does the following quite well:
- On your following page, it adds a new section to the top of the page that shows all of the people who are not following you back.
- On your followers page, it adds a new section to the top of the page that shows all of the people that you are not following in return.
In using this script myself, I followed some 50 or so people I was not following back, and I unfollowed about 160 people. Yay!
How do you get it / use it? Well, it is pretty simple:
- Use Firefox
- Install the Greasemonkey addon
- Restart Firefox
- Go to here to access the NoLovr greasemonkey script page, and click the Install button.
- Load up your followers or your following pages, and enjoy.
Thanks! I always wished I could do this. I hate being all involved in the postings of people that I don’t realize are ignoring me.
