Free Downloadable Grocery List

What I really like about this grocery list is that at the bottom right hand corner, it reminds you to take along your canvas bags and to avoid using the plastic bags. And if you did use plastic bags the last time, then it reminds you to recycle them! I know that I forget to recycle plastic bags so many times.

Here’s hoping to be a better citizen.

Totally shows my current state of mind. I don’t know how I’m going to go about completing the huge pile of work that has accumulated, thanks to my food poisoning. I get so tired and frustrated thinking about it that I just go to sleep. Escaping all my troubles, if you will.

Yahoo To Reject Microsoft's Offer

Report: Yahoo Board to Reject Microsoft

Board members concluded the unsolicited $44.6 billion offer massively undervalues the Web pioneer, a person familiar with the situation told the newspaper.

How much do they think they’re worth? :) Anyway, probably it’s for everyone’s good. Yahoo can now concentrate on improving its products (and keep Flickr safe). Ballmer can go back and work on his next useless scheme. Google can sleep in ‘peace’.

Options left:

  1. Microsoft can still increase the offer price- Don’t know if this is what Yahoo! is playing at. However, this will only cause Microsoft share price to get devalued further.

  2. Google and Yahoo! work together on Yahoo! Search Engine.

What do you think will happen next?

Tumblr Design Tools?

Try the Firebug addon for Firefox. Shows you the elements of other web pages and really helps you learn some coding and edit your page in real time. That’s what I use and I’m not really very techie either. Even CSS Viewer for Firefox is neat.

joelaz:

I think I’m going to try to redesign my Tumblr. I’m intimidated by the project since I don’t know CSS or HTML, though I can usually make sense of it by looking at existing code. Are there any visual design tools that would make the process more fluid for a non-technical person?…

So for Lent this year, instead of people deciding to quit smoking, sex, or big gulp slurpies, I’d like to suggest that they abstain from their crackberries.

My DashBoard

I’m disappointed with the quality of posts at Tumblr. Most of the posts are re-posts. There is hardly any original content (except for a couple of people). Going through the posts in my dashboard is a pain.

Britons are losing their grip on reality, according to a poll out Monday which showed that nearly a quarter think Winston Churchill was a myth while the majority reckon Sherlock Holmes was real.

Silo Theme

I’ve started using Paul Giacherio’s Silo Theme. It’s so pretty that I HAD to use it. The best thing about this theme is that it has the box style, unlike all the other tumblr themes out there, that are clones of each other. I have been waiting since a long time for his to release it. And he’s been very helpful in customizing the CSS a bit, according to my requirements. :) He answered both my emails very promptly. This is an amazing theme if you don’t write much and would like to showcase all your links, photos, videos etc. To prevent the text posts from spilling over to other boxes, he asked me to add this to my CSS:

.post{ overflow:hidden;}

You might want to do this so that the basic layout doesn’t break. Plus, I removed the height specification from the .photobox class because it was cutting out the bottom 1/3rd part of the pictures.
